Timor-Leste 2024 - Trip B / Day 10

23.07.24

The day started with a nutritious breakfast of Good Time biscuits! Around 9.00am, we went to the school to teach the local students English and played games like 'Heads Down, Thumbs Up' and 'Hangman'.

We also had a race to find an English word for each letter of the alphabet, and the winning team got Beng Bengs. After teaching, we danced to 'Waka Waka' and the 'Macarena', gave out stickers, and shared the books we made about ourselves.

We toured the girls and boys dorms to understand their living conditions, visited the Mother Mary shrine, stopped at a waterfall on the way back, and dipped our feet in the cool water.

We enjoyed our last sunset in Hatolia and had Timorese pizza for dinner before heading to sleep.
