We started the day waking up to the bells at 6.00am. We then walked down to the school and got presented with tais from the locals and were welcomed by the wonderful kids with their traditional music and dance.
We then got put into different classes and taught the children English and played games. After lunch, we hopped in to the troopy and made the journey to Malara, a school in a village that Tenison Woods College donated money towards building.
We gave the kids a stationary pack each and had lots of laughs and dances with the kids. We then had a quick walk through the village to look at some projects that the Bakhita Centre was involved in.
