Office 365 - Tools and Apps

04.06.2021

Office365 includes several online applications that can be used instead of the normal installed office programs and works best when connected to your BYOD.

1

Mail - Your Webmail, accessible from an internet connected device.

Calendar - A personal calendar that can stay synchronised with your BYO device.

People - A contacts page where you not only store your own contacts, but also view the schools directory. This can also be connected to your BYO device.

OneDrive - Personal/school storage that can be accessed from almost any device with an internet connection (school or BYOD).

OneNote - Becoming widely used in school, many classes now feature a dedicated class notebook for distributing and receiving work.

Tasks - Save personal tasks and reminders, updated to/from your BYOD.

Office Online - these are online version of the office programs, that can operate in 'the cloud' without needing to be installed on your device. *note* these allow real-time collaboration with others, but can be slower to initially start as they need to be downloaded for use each time.

Forms - Create online surveys and questionaires (https://forms.office.com)
