How to - Run a Program as an Administrator

04.06.2021

By default, Windows 10/11 will run a program as a user. You will need to specify a program to run with administrator priveledges manually.

The easiest way to do this is to right click the programs icon on your desktop, Start menu, or in its application folder. A toolbar icon will require you to Hold Shift + Right Click.

1. In the menu click Run As Administrator.

2. A window will pop up asking you to confirm. Click Yes.

This program will run in Administrative mode, until closed.

If you run into any issues, please see or contact the TWC ICT Department. You can log a support ticket through the TWC Portal Page. (See Page).
