Free Student Copy of Maya, AutoCAD and other Autodesk software

Autodesk provides a free education copy of selected software for students to use during their time at Tenison Woods College.

Before you can use their software, you must create an account and confirm your eligibility for the products (i.e. prove you are a student).

You can achieve this by following the article on the Portal page here.

 If your license as expired and need to get it renewed for a student license, you can achieve this by following the article on the Portal page here.

To download your copy, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to Autodesk's free software page herePlease Note: If a message appears in the top right corner asking if you would like to go to the Australia site or the stay on the Untied States site. Please select “Stay on our United States Site”

2. Click on the software you would like, in this example Fusion 360

3. Select the subscription plan as a student

4. Autodesk requires you to verify that you are a student to use student licensing. Click Continue on this prompt

5. Please fill out all the details as required to access the software as per the screenshots below using your information

6. Click on Submit when everything is showing green ticks and is ready to go

7. Once submitted you can sign in and download your software

8. Click Sign in and use the account you have already created. If you have not created an account you need to follow the following article from the portal page found here.



9. Select the version in which you want to download, your language and your operating system. 


10. Click on the button next to the install now button and select browser download

11. Once installed you will be able to Sign In into the software with the account you created earlier and use the software
