OneDrive - Saving on Windows 10
08.06.2021
Using OneDrive at TWC allows you to save your work online. You are allocated 1TB (1000GB) of online storage for free. Using OneDrive is essential as it prevents work from being lost and creates previous versions of your Office documents (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
OneDrive in Windows 10 has built-in features to allow you to save your work and documents. Here are 2 main, easy ways of doing so.
Method A: Saving through Office Apps
1. Inside of an Office App (for example, Word), start by pressing File, or alternatively, pressing the save icon.
2. Navigate to the Save As option and select Tenison Woods College – OneDrive. Be sure to name your work appropriately and use a conventional file structure.
Method B: Saving existing work and documents to OneDrive.
1. Inside of File Explorer, navigate to the files or Folders you would like to Backup on OneDrive. Select them and copy them.
2. Go to the directory seen in the image by following the red circles and paste the file there.
