Students from Years 10, 11 and 12 attended a Try-a-Trade Day with One Forty One. Students participated in presentations about the forestry industry, undertook a site tour and participated in three key activities – in the saw shop, and electrical and mechanical departments. In each activity, students completed specific tasks relating to each trade area, with instruction around safe work practices in the workshop. This dedicated day provided students with a unique and personalised understanding of the forestry industry and the three trades. We thank One Forty One for providing this opportunity.
