Last Friday, some of our Year 5 students participated in the SAPSASA Volleyball Day at the Wulanda Recreation Centre. The event was a wonderful opportunity for students to engage in a sport that is not often played in our area, providing a platform to learn new skills, forge friendships, and enjoy the spirit of friendly competition. Throughout the day, our students took to the court, playing against teams from a variety of local schools. It was great to see their determination as they mastered the fundamental skills of volleyball, including serving, passing, and teamwork. For many, this was their first experience with the sport, and their eagerness to give it their all was evident in every match. We are incredibly proud of our students for their effort, positivity, and willingness to step outside their comfort zones. A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, and supporters who made this event possible. SAPSASA Volleyball Day was a fantastic celebration of learning, participation, and fun – and we hope it inspires our students to keep exploring new and exciting sports in the future! Well done, everyone!
