R U OK? Day - Raising Awareness

24.09.24

On Thursday, our College community took the pledge and asked Ask R U OK? Any Day because life happens every day.  Whether it’s your friend, family member, colleague, partner, or teammate, this day is a reminder of the importance of asking ‘R U OK?’.

With a touch of yellow, Students and staff helped spread the message of this year’s R U OK? Day motto.

Beginning the day by taking a pledge, to buddy activities across the school, lunchtime stalls and entertainment with live band ‘Fat Pony’, face painting, and a staff v student volleyball match, there was a sense of fun and camaraderie from our Early Learning Children right up to our Senior Students.

Classes in Years 7-11 joined a panel discussion with industry experts, from local agencies such as Headspace.

Thank you to our wonderful Student Leaders, who really got behind the message of R U OK? Day.
