Local illustrator Bianca Richardson Visits Reception Children

27.05.24

During Week 3, local illustrator Bianca Richardson visited our Reception children. She spoke about the process she used to illustrate her very first children's book 'Banjo Frog's Concert Spectacular' written by Kristin Martin, which tells the story of how Banjo frogs, Glossy-black cockatoos and Southern brown bandicoots are affected by rabbits and how we can help these animals by planting trees and shrubs to provide food and shelter.

Children were involved in acting out Banjo Frog's concert and had the opportunity to draw their very own Banjo Frog! They are now feeling very inspired to illustrate their own stories during our Bookmaking lessons. We thank Bianca for her time and for gifting us with our very own copy of 'Banjo Frog's Concert Spectacular'.
