Year 6 'Suitcase of Dreams' Event

Throughout this term the Year 6 classes have been learning about Australian Migration. To showcase what they have learnt the cohort hosted a 'Suitcase of Dreams' event on Wednesday afternoon.
Each student has researched and authored stories and biographies around an Australian migrant, and prepared a ‘suitcase of dreams’ that showcased the achievements, important events and artefacts from that person’s life. Amongst the carefully curated collection were artists, actors, sportspeople and people near and dear to some, including parents, grandparents, ancestors and even classmates.
Thank you to all that attended and we hope you enjoyed learning about Australian Migration.
