Year 3 SAKG Cooking

02.08.23

This term, the Year 3 students will have the exciting opportunity to participate in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program (SAKG). Throughout the Semester, they will engage in weekly experiences in both the garden and the kitchen, fostering valuable skills and knowledge.

The program will offer a diverse range of kitchen lessons aimed at enhancing their kitchen hygiene, teamwork, and knife skills, building upon the foundations from the previous year. By participating in these activities, the students will not only learn how to prepare delicious meals but also develop a deeper appreciation for healthy and sustainable food practices.

In our first cooking week we had great success making delicious Zucchini, Bacon and Cheese muffins!
