Academy of Hospitality Assist at ‘Cows for Cambodia’ Event

29.06.23

On Friday 23 June a group of students from Academy of Hospitality stepped up to assist at a gala dinner for 160 people, held at the Mount Gambier Racecourse as a ‘Cows for Kids’ fundraising activity. The fundraising efforts of Cows for Kids sees 100% of funds raised locally donated to Cambodian children living in poverty around the Siem Reap district.

Our students donated their time to help serve the 3-course meal, working alongside St Bees Catering whilst also completing assessment tasks for core units of Certificate II in Hospitality.

Many thanks to these students for not only the donation of their time but their professionalism and enjoyment in serving such a large crowd, you were very impressive!
