On Wednesday 3 May our music department proudly featured Showband, Concert Choir, Senior Boys’ Ensemble, Senior Vocal Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble in our pre-Generations in Jazz concert, ‘A Night of Jazz’.

We are so fortunate to have our ensemble directors who selected a great program of music:

• Jack Heaven – Showband and Jazz Ensemble
• Sarah Raymond and Beth Creedy – Concert Choir
• Beth Creedy and Jodi Swiggs – Senior Boys’ Ensemble and Senior Vocal Ensemble

The evening kicked off with beautifully presented and delicious food and drinks, catered and served by Jen McCourt’s hospitality students. A great joint venture, as these students were also being assessed for a task during the evening. A big thank you to ‘Friends of Music’ committee members for donation of goods and assisting throughout the night in various ways. It was a wonderful celebration of what our senior music students have been working on in Term 1 and was truly inspiring to all who attended!
