Junior School Arts Showcase

14.12.22

The Tenison Woods College Junior School Arts Community held their annual 2022 Arts Showcase on Monday the 12th of December. It began with Spark Choir, lead by Mrs Hudson with an uplifting rendition of ‘Jingle Bells’. Next came a captivating drama performance by Year 5 actors, Olivia Argent, Harry Wallwork, Kurt Somerville, Seth Nilsson and Amber Pohlner. The showcase included an array of Media Arts projects from different year levels, choral speaking and a photo slideshow displaying the creative accomplishments of students throughout the Junior School. The audience was also beguiled with a dragon dance, choreographed, and performed by Casey Peterse, Sabine Teodoro and William Mott from Year 3. The showcase concluded with a ‘hearty’ Year 2 pirate play and a delightful Reception puppet play. Mrs Hopgood and Miss K would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped make the 2022 Junior School Arts Showcase such a resounding success. Remember…‘Creativity is contagious – Pass it on.’ Albert Einstein.
