Blessing of the Cribs

Last Friday, our Junior School enjoyed the Blessing of the Cribs Assembly. Students were invited to bring in the crib from their Nativity scene to be blessed by Fr Peter, with students also acting out the Nativity. The blessing symbolises that all who look upon the empty manger be reminded of the humble birth of Jesus Christ, as we await Christmas with anticipation and excitement.

Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
