As part of his studies, Year 11 student, Josh Cutting, and his band, Republic Salad, composed and recorded a single called ‘RUN’, which was entered in the recent 2022 triple j Unearthed High competition.

Since the beginning of the year, Josh has been taking weekly singing lessons with ARMI - Australian Rock & Metal Institute and travelling to Adelaide each Friday to attend classes at Music SA, working towards his Certificate III in Music Performance. This experience has been supported by Josh winning the Rotary Club of Mount Gambier West Music ‘Shine’ Scholarship at our 2021 Senior School Awards.
