We are extremely proud of our Junior and Senior Netballers who represented the College at the Waverley Netball Championships in Melbourne last week! We had a fantastic tournament, with our Junior team finishing 4th overall and our Senior team crowned National Champions. Senior Girls Grand Final - Tenison Woods College vs Maribyrnong College In the grand final we were in for a tough match against a strong Maribyrnong College. After a hard-fought first half, trailing at the end of both quarters, we showed great fight and passion to lead by 4 points at 3-quarter time, extending our lead in the final quarter to 7 taking out the championship! The final score was TWC 28 - 21 MC and Player of the Match went to Daisy Tunkin Congratulations to our coaches Donna Denton, Angela Queale and Tara Millard for their tremendous work coaching!
