Students accepted into UniSA Accelerate Program

13.04.22

Year 12 students, Jess Tresidder and Ariella Holland, have been accepted into the University of South Australia’s Accelerate program!

New in 2022, the program enables students who are interested in pursuing a career in business to start studying university subjects in their final year of school. Successful completion of the program also guarantees an early place in a business degree at the University. Not only do students obtain study credits towards their chosen degree, but subjects will count towards their SACE and ATAR.

Both Ariella and Jess will study two subjects, commencing this month. They will start with ‘Marketing Principles: Trading and Exchange’. They have a strong business focus, with Jess running a very successful online business making and selling personalised key chains, while Ariella is currently completing a Certificate III in Business through her Traineeship with Ashlee Lauren (AEL.ESTE).

It is anticipated that the program will be offered more widely to Year 12 students next year.

Outstanding work, Jess and Ariella!
