Olympian Anna Meares Speaks to 9SHINE Students

23.03.22

During Week 6, 9SHINE students were treated to a captivating keynote speech via Zoom from four-time Olympian, Anna Meares, as she spoke of her incredible journey in cycling and life. Students were engaged throughout and blown away by the footage of Anna recovering from her C2 neck injury. Anna’s story was one of great resilience that showcased the power of a strong woman.

A massive thank you must go to Anna’s close friend and College staff member, Che Thomas, for coordinating the talk.

‘Positivity breeds positivity, negativity breeds negativity.’ – Anna Meares
