Reception - Year 6 Sports Day Returns!

23.02.22

For the first time next week we will see the Reception to Year 6 Sports Day at Marist Park. Reception students will be meeting their teachers in their classrooms and then walking down to Marist Park.

Year 1-6 students will go straight to Marist Park in the morning, not to school, and meet their teachers there. All students are to wear their full PE uniform but can wear coloured ribbons or socks, no coloured hair spray. The day will begin at 8:50am with an opening from Mr Mezinec and prayer by Father Peter. The year levels will begin their rotation of events and activities as per the timetable.

The Reception to Year 2 students will finish their day at 12:30pm. They have the option to go home or return to school with their teacher. They have been busy practising the team games and skills with their Physical Education teacher over the past few weeks. R-2 students will not be ordering lunches for the day but can access the Sugarloaf with their families.

We thank the Sugarloaf Café for providing us with food for the day. There will be NO need to pre-order but cash payment on the day will be preferred – EFTPOS will be available.

Attached is the link to the program should parents wish to attend any part of the day. All parents will need to QR code into the event and we encourage you to wear a mask as per our HHDL plan. The day will conclude around 3:10pm with the presentations of the Year Level Boy and Girl champions and the announcement of the overall winning team.
