8/9 Knockout Cricket Against Grant High School

On Tuesday 19 October our 8/9 Cricketers participated in Round 1 of the 35-over knockout competition against Grant High School.
Grant won the toss and elected to bat. After an early wicket to Jared Kuhl they continued to fall in a consistent manner and Grant were all out for 68 in the 31st over. Pick of the bowlers were Jacob Salmon and Jed Sims.
Angus Clarke and Robbie Case set out to chase the runs down in a quick fashion before Angus fell for 15. Jayden Prior 27 and Robbie 16 (not out) steered us to victory in the 17th over.
We will now play the winner of Lucindale and Penola in Round 2. Well done, boys!
