Shining Light Awards

20.10.21

Congratulations to our 2021 Shining Lights who were acknowledged during our virtual celebration, Saturday evening:
• Sister Anne Foale
• Sunita Gloster (nee D'Souza)
• Barrie Holmes (dec)
• The Hon Rob Lucas MLC

The awards recognised the significant contributions made by these former students to our local and global community, and their stories were inspirational. I trust our current and future students will discern from these life journeys the essence of our community that has helped to form them and nurture their call to service.

While we were not able to gather this year in person, the video stories were powerful depictions of our Shining Lights. As such I thank Dave Kenseley for his efforts as master of ceremonies; his sixth time in weaving an event of story, celebration and legacy. I also thank Emma Herring, Jess Herring, Jess Snell and Mitchell Manser, our Public Relations and Events Team, for their wonderful planning and production efforts in creating a virtual event of the highest quality.

If you missed the event you can enjoy the full length presentation here.
