Isabella Lamb Cuts her Hair for a Cause

18.08.21

Last Tuesday 10 August, Year 11 student Isabella Lamb cut approximately 30cm of her off hair in support of the Sustainable Salons organisation.

Isabella said:
“I had been growing my hair for about 3 years and really wanted to get it quite long, about the length it was. It started getting a little bit annoying to keep under control and was getting knotty quite easily. I told mum and dad that I wanted to cut it and they went along with my decision of cutting it short. The reason why I decided to donate it was because I didn’t see any reason in just cutting half of it off when I could cut it to 30cm and be able to donate it for a wig. I was able to cut 6 ponytails at roughly 30cm each and donate them to the Sustainable Salons organisation.”

Well done Isabella!
