Charity Day

18.08.21

Last Thursday 12 August the College held its annual Charity Day, raising money for Timor-Leste.

The College had an action-packed day, which kicked off with a virtual Liturgy viewed by all students and staff.

Year 12 students held lots of great activities such as table-tennis, basketball, bottle-flipping and a small petting zoo, to name a few. At lunchtime, there were several student-run Timor-Leste inspired stalls selling a variety of different items, with all money raised going to Timor-Leste.

Last year the College held the Charity Day 'Hot Seat Quiz'; but this year the main attraction was the 'Minute to Win It' challenges! Staff and student leaders participated in a number of timed challenges as all competed for valuable Founder points.

And two lucky students experienced a buggy ride around the College with Principal David Mezinec! These students won this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at our recent Charity Ball.

It was an incredible day and one that everyone looks forward to on the calendar!
