Holy Week - The Last Supper

31.03.21

As part of Holy Week, the Year 3 students participated in a re-enactment of the The Last Supper, to recognise this as an event in Jesus’ life. Students were asked to reflect on the feelings of the disciples and Jesus at that time as they were given a piece of bread and a cup of wine (diet red cordial). The lesson concluded with a special prayer service identifying, through scripture, the events of Holy Week and who Jesus was and his willingness to die on the cross for us as a sign of his love.
