Clean Up Australia Day

10.03.21

Clean Up Australia Day was a great success last Thursday 4 March with all students and staff at the College pitching in and doing their part to Care for our Common Home (Laudato si').

Students and teachers cleaned up areas at and around the College, including Marist Park, Malseed Park and Hastings Cunningham Reserve.

The Waste Management Shed was the hub of the day’s clean-up, with full bags of rubbish brought in throughout the day to be weighed. Approximately a tonne of waste was collected by the students and staff! Well done to all on a successful day. Founder Team Points will be announced soon.

Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
