Studiosity Presentations

03.03.21

On Tuesday 2 March the College held a series of presentations in the Lecture Theatre for the Year 7, 8, 11 and 12 students. In 2021, Tenison Woods College Year 7 to 12 students will once again have free access to the study support platform, Studiosity. It is homework and study help, after school hours, from professional educators and subject specialists.

There are two core services that students can use:

• Writing Feedback: Students can upload any written essay or draft assignment, and receive feedback that helps them think about and review their own work.
• Connect Live: Students can ask a question or draw a diagram and get immediate help via live chat with a qualified Subject Specialist, across all core subjects (English, Maths, Science, and more).

Students also have access to over 750 practice tests and downloadable worksheets within their Studiosity accounts. These quizzes are available across English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology for Year 7 through to Year 12 levels, including NAPLAN-specific content.

This resource has shown to improve students’ confidence and self-efficacy. If you have any questions regarding Studiosity please do not hesitate to contact me at dicksc@tenison.catholic.edu.au
