09.12.20

Year 11 Student, Patrick McCourt (pictured above) recently received the Highest Achiever Award 48ACU 2020 in recognition of his commitment and leadership in the Army Cadet Unit over the past four years of service. Patrick has worked his way through the cadet ranks since 2016 to the position of Company Sergeant Major Warrant Officer Class Two.

He will leave the unit in 2021 to accept an appointment as Regimental Sergeant Major for the Coorong Battalion. Patrick also raised funds for Cancer Council Australia by shaving his hair at the Australian Army Cadets (AAC) Annual Field Exercise in Murray Bridge earlier this year.
