Leila Croker Defies Odds in Athletics Competition

04.11.20

Year 8 student Leila Croker recently competed in 2020 VIVA SA All Schools Games in Adelaide for athletics. Leila unfortunately was restricted due to having her broken wrist in a cast. That did not slow her down. Leila went on to compete in the Under 16 age group in the 90 metre hurdles, 200 metre hurdles, long jump and 200 metre sprint. She performed exceptionally well, as she came home with two gold medals in 90 metre hurdles and long jump, a silver medal in 200 metre hurdles and came 6th overall in the 200 metre sprint. Well done to Leila on her outstanding results!
