Students Have One-on-One Time with an Olympian

28.10.20

Year 4 and 5 students recently participated in an online discussion with Olympian Sophie Edwards through 'Olympics Unleashed Online'.

Olympics Unleashed Online allows students to connect with athletes via video-conferencing formats, such as Zoom or Skype. Athletes share how to build resilience, overcome challenges and work as a team to inspire students to be the best version of themselves – an important message during this year full of new challenges.

Sophie, who is a current member of the Australian Cycling Team, spoke to our students about her love for the sport, goal-setting, her highs and lows and her role within the team. This was an amazing opportunity for our students!
