Year 12 Student Wows Audience with Digital Artwork

14.10.20

Year 12 student Edward Layzell’s passion for movie making and animation was displayed in his final submission in Stage 2 Visual Art-Design. Edward presented his final piece to reception students in the Drama Room, this allowed him to project images towards the ceiling wall and floor, creating an experience where the audience could wander inside to involve themselves in the immersive advertisement. He also designed the presentation to capture viewers’ attention and inform them of a serious environmental issue about single use plastics whilst feeling like they were swimming in the ocean.

This project was one of two assessments that Edward was required to complete as part of the Stage 2 SACE requirements for Visual Art-Design. Well done on his final submission and a great year in Visual Arts!
