Year 9 Students Step Up To Help Young Footballers

17.09.20

This term, a group of Year 9 High-Performance football students have been involved in running the Tenison Woods College Auskick program for Junior School students. Each week the Year 9 boys assisted in the skill development of the young footballers by setting up drills for improving their skills in handballing, bouncing and kicking. It has been great to see the boys give back to the College community by mentoring the next generation of footballers. I am sure that the students, teachers and parents/caregivers have been very appreciative of the boys stepping up to mentor and share their football knowledge and skills. Well done boys!

A big thank you to these boys; Hamish Case, Harry Opperman, Zac Hopgood, Jack Lawrence, Jack O’Leary, Will Ellis and Mitchell Cornolo for helping every week.
