Open Boys Football Team Successful at Regional Carnival

05.08.20

In the first game against Grant High School on Tuesday 4 August, Tenison jumped out of the blocks and controlled the game with ease. In what was cold and windy conditions the boys were able to handle the ball with flair and set up numerous attacking plays.

After Mount Gambier High School defeated Naracoorte High, the stage was set for a close and competitive final. Mount Gambier High School kicked the first two goals of the game with the aid of a strong breeze. The Tenison Woods College backline then steadied themselves and began to gain control of the game. Through the hard work of the midfield and consistent forward pressure the boys came into halftime 8 points in front. With the strong breeze behind them and Josh Cornolo dominating up forward they were able to create many scoring opportunities and come away with the win.
Well done to the boys involved!
