A Generous Gesture to New Learning Precinct

22.07.20

We thank staff member Jeanette Maxwell and her husband John who volunteered their time and talents to the Gilap Wanga Learning Community garden in the school holidays. The pair were generous enough to donate all the plants and bark, to ensure that the Poplars Learning Community is looking wonderful for the start of Term 3.

Jeanette and John, who have had a very long association with the College where their children, Ben, Tara, Erin and Adam attended, have been assisting the College with the native planning of the whole Gilap Wanga precinct.

We sincerely thank Jeanette and John for giving up their time, talents and for donating the plants and bark!

Tenison Woods College respectfully acknowledges the Boandik people are the First Nations people of the Mount Gambier South Eastern region of South Australia and pay respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, past, present and emerging.
