Year 1 Students Dressed To Impress On Fairy Tale Day

24.06.20

Today, the Year 1 students dressed up in their favourite Fairy Tale costumes to celebrate and mark the end of their learning on Fairy Tales.

There were many wonderful costumes and characters. Snow White, Knights, Red Riding Hood, The 3 Little Pigs, Princesses, Hunters and even Witches were very popular.

Students took part in a parade through the Junior School area, including the Front Office.

The Year 1’s kept busy all morning making crafts like towers, dragons and castles with lots of recyclable materials.

To conclude the day, they watched a movie while enjoying fresh popcorn.

Students had so much fun and some of them shared some highlights of the day:

“On Fairy Tale Day I dressed up as Snow White. I liked it when we went in the parade” - Payton.

“On Fairy Tale Day I dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. I liked it when we did the parade. My favourite part was when we walked past the classrooms”- Mia.
