Clean Up Australia Schools Day

05.03.20

Clean Up Australia Schools Day on Friday 28 February was absolute rubbish as expected. In fact, there was over 200kgs of it. During Lesson 6, Junior School students paired with Middle and Senior School students to clean up together. They collaborated to clean not only the school grounds but also Malseed Park and Hastings Cuttingham Reserve.

Thank you to Senior and Middle Environmental Leaders and Future Enviros for helping to sort, weigh and document the collection. Congratulations to all students who participated in Clean Up Australia School’s Day. The whole school worked together as one big team and as a result, the day was an outstanding success. Let’s all continue to work together to keep Tenison Woods College, Mount Gambier and Australia clean.
