Carols in the PRC celebrated

18.12.19

Last Thursday evening, the College community came together to celebrate ‘Carols in the PRC’. After needing to move the event from St Paul’s Church, the Pam Ronan
Centre was a fantastic and beautiful space for the celebration!
With the event hosted by the Carols Band (under the direction of Penny Mansell) and the Concert Choir (under the direction of Jodi Swiggs and Beth Creedy) the
community sang through many of their favourite traditional Christmas songs.
With Christmas items from the Junior Choir and Primary Choir (under the direction of Rebecca Hudson and Beth Creedy), Music Connection, Concert Choir, Senior Vocal Ensemble, Carols Band, Year 10 soloist Zoe Aberle and special guest soloist Father Dean Marin, the Christmas spirit was truly alive at the College. A huge thank you to the Friends of Music committee who decorated the space and organised candles and fundraising on the night. The gold coin donation that was collected will be given to the St Vincent de Paul Bushfire Appeal. The hard work of our students that allowed them to shine, could not have happened without the support and teaching of the Music
Faculty – congratulations to all involved.
