College Shines during Christmas Parade

21.11.19

The happy faces and waving hands on show as the beautiful Tenison Woods College float passed through Commercial Street on Saturday morning was a joy to see.

Over 160 people were involved, including teachers, members of the school leadership team, parents, grandparents and children of all ages and from all areas of the school. The float stayed true to our Catholic tradition and we presented a colourful display of the Nativity scene, called ‘Mary’s Boy Child.’ Participants were dressed as shepherds, cows, sheep and angels, with several students dressed as the main characters from the gospel of Mark and Matthew.

We extend our immense gratitude to Carmel Alderson, for her continued commitment to our College Christmas Parade float. Thank you to all community members who were involved and those who assisted.
