Tim O’Brien HPSP Visit

07.11.19

We thank Tim O’Brien from the Hawthorn Football Club for taking the time to chat to our High Performance Sports students today about his football journey being an aspiring country athlete that transitioned into the world of professional sport.

Tim talked to the students about his Kokoda Trail experience and the links with the Hawthorn Football Club values, for example their sacrifice, mateship & perseverance. Our students then took the opportunity to ask Tim questions.

It was a fantastic and unique opportunity to gain insight from someone who has come from a pathway that many of our HPSP students are aspiring to.
