Breydon Receives Prestigious Defence Force Award

Late in Term 3, Year 12 student, Breydon Verryt-Reid was presented the Australian Defence Force Academy Education Award by Lt Rob Main. The award is designed to assist the winner in completing their Year 12 studies.

The ADFA Education Award is presented to Students who have excelled during the Australian Defence Force recruitment process. These students have shown academic achievement and demonstrated a high level of leadership potential. Award recipients are selected after completion of psychometric testing, psychological and recruiting officer interviews and finally a selection board panel from which all applicants are ranked in order of merit.

Tenison Woods College was also presented with a plaque to recognise the achievement of the ADFA Education Award.

Congratulations Breydon on this outstanding achievement and recognition.
