The Australian Boys Choir collaborate with College Choirs at special concert

27.06.19

On the back of a highly successful European Tour in 2018, the prestigious
Australian Boys Choir are embarking on a regional tour of South Australia. 25
members of the Choir will be coming to Mount Gambier for a performance next
week. They have invited Tenison Woods College to be involved in their tour.
Our students in Music Connection (Year 6/7), Concert Choir and Senior Vocal
Ensemble will be workshopping with the Choir and their Director, Nicholas
Dinopoulos, on Monday 1 July.

On the evening of 1 July, at 7.00pm, the Australian Boys Choir are presenting a concert at St Paul’s Catholic Church, Penola Road. They have invited the three Tenison Woods College Choirs to each perform a song to open the concert and our Choirs will also join the Australian Boys Choir in their finale song.

The concert will go for approximately 1 hour. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to work with a high calibre Choir and will also give them a chance to perform before they compete in Eisteddfod competitions early next term. All tickets are just $10.00 available
at the door. Don’t miss Australia’s first and finest Choir for boys in collaboration with Tenison Woods College for an evening of sacred and inspirational music.
