Year 7 Regional Catholic Co-LAB Day a success

17.06.19

I am delighted that Tenison Woods College hosted the Regional Catholic
Schools Co-LAB day; a day of collaboration in the creation of contemporary
learning experiences for Year 7 students in our Catholic schools; Tenison
Woods College, St Anthony’s Catholic School, Millicent and Mary MacKillop
Memorial School, Penola.

Not only were our students offered experiences in Music Technology, Science Experimentation, Laser Cutting and Rocket Technology, Food Science and Hospitality and Sports Science, but students were also given an appreciation that our Catholic Schools are much more than places of innovation and excellence, but communities in which a well-rounded development of our young is fostered through a deliberate invitation to a relationship with our God.

Today has been a wonderful celebration of collaboration across the regional Catholic schools and also an opportunity for us to celebrate the way we are hope-filled communities;
communities in which each person is invited to a deep relationship with our
God and expresses that relationship by the way they serve one another and our
broader global community.
