College places second at 9–a-side Football

On Thursday 23 May, 5 teams of very eager Tenison Woods College girl footballers travelled to Blue Lake Sports Park to play in the Year 8/9 and 10 9-a-side Football competition.
The players faced off against various High Schools from the Lower South East region. With the sun shining for the entire day, all the girls played well whilst displaying excellent sportsmanship qualities.
As the day concluded, the girls collectively lead Tenison Woods College to second position overall with the final winner being decided at the completion of the boys 9-a-side carnival taking place tomorrow. Congratulations girls.
