Thank you to all the parents, grandparents and friends who attended the Mother’s Day Liturgy last Friday. It was a wonderful cross generational celebration of the love and joy of being a mother and grandmother. Over 300 people enjoyed a moving Liturgy in the Tenison Woods College Chapel and then moved to the staffroom for a special Morning Tea.

Then during recess, Junior school students were given the opportunity to visit the ‘Mothers Days Stall’ set up by the PTA in the Multi-purpose room, where they could pick a special gift for their mum’s.

There were many wonderful gifts available for students to purchase for a modest price, including books, chocolates, slippers and more. Gifts were priced between 50 cents and $5.00, with all items kindly donated by College families. All fundraising efforts will go towards the PTA’s SHINE initiative

We hope that all mums had a very enjoyable Mother’s Day.
