Matt Black awarded Bert Bargeus Medal

Congratulations to Year 12 student Matt Black who on the weekend was awarded the Bert Bargeus Medal for Most Outstanding SA Country Basketball Male Athlete of the Year (2018).
The Bert Bargeus Medal was inaugurated in 2010 and is awarded to athletes who demonstrate commitment, hard work, are high achieving, show teamwork and have high integrity.
Matt is extremely honoured and was very surprised to be awarded this medal, which was presented before his Castec Pioneers game against Eastern Mavericks on Sunday Afternoon in Mount Barker.
