Certificate II in Furniture Making (MSF20522)

Certificate II in Furniture Making is a pre-vocational course designed to introduce students to the possibilities of becoming employed in the Furniture an/or Construction Industries.

The students are helped to develop trade quality skills and understanding, specifically suited to furniture making but which also could be used as an entry into the building and construction industry.

Students are introduced to very elaborate machinery, which they are likely to encounter in a factory setting and are also introduced to typical work place routines and processes in a simulated workplace when we create mass produced products or tasks.

Must do 2 weeks minimum of work placement during this course.
