Throughout Exercise Physiology students develop the ability to analyse health and physical activity information critically, using it to create and execute personalised plans aimed at maintaining healthy and active lifestyles.
Through practical applications students learn to apply more specialised movement skills and complex movement strategies and concepts in different movement environments. The curriculum also provides opportunities for students to examine biomechanics, skill acquisition and an introduction to sports psychology.
Approximately $60.00 to cover gym visits, community excursions, bus travel. Dependent on negotiated practical, additional costs may apply
Students provide evidence of learning through three assessment tasks. Evidence for each task/ investigation should be up to a maximum of 6 minutes for an oral or multimodal presentation, or
up to a maximum of 1000 words.
