The Year 9 curriculum enables the development of skills and strategies that will help students make informed decisions to promote their own and others’ health, safety, wellbeing and physical activity participation. The course provides opportunities for students to develop and apply positive personal and social skills to establish and maintain respectful relationships while promoting fair play, resilience and inclusivity.
Students will develop specialised movement skills and concepts delivered through a variety of
physical activity settings and will explore the role that games, sports, rhythmic and expressive activities and outdoor recreation activities have in living a healthy and active lifestyle.
