Subject Description

This course introduces students to the fundamental skills and concepts of basketball. Students will learn and build upon basic techniques, such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defensive strategies. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, sportsmanship, and the rules of the game. Through various drills, skill-building activities, and small-sided games, students will develop their physical fitness and understanding of basketball.

Sports Academy participants are expected to be committed to a high standard of performance and dedicated to developing their skills and knowledge within their chosen sport.

Content

The course places emphasis on fitness, coordination, and simple game play to reinforce skill acquisition in a fun and supportive environment.
